Creating Connections with the Consumer

While I do not believe large executions will ever have a positive ROAS, I truly encourage all brands to invest in some opportunity to connect in person with the consumer. Any time you can interact with them one on one, it creates a memory and emotional experience with the brand. From the ease of the check out process to large, brand events, each moment and connection matters.

With Pernod Ricard, part of my role was to create and execute multi-city pop-ups. From concept to execution (including the development of an old fashioned newspaper!), I managed every detail. Below is an example of a Chivas Pop-Up that went into multiple airports to engage with consumers while they waited for their flights.

Challenge: Create a lasting memory with a consumer in under 5 minutes.

Project: Chivas Pop-Up Travel Experience

Execution: A tasting bar complete with multi-sensory tasting ritual, storage lockers & charging stations, shoe-shine experience.

Results: 14k samples, 7 in 10 intent to buy, 4.6/5 experience rating, far exceeding the KPIs set.
